New footage of Cian Healy collision with Will Genia has emerged

Cian Healy was naughty here.

Will Genia is out of the final Test of an enthralling series between Ireland and Australia, and the hosts are pissed. The scrum-half suffered a fracture to his arm in the first half of the Second Test, in Melbourne, and had to leave the field after 27 minutes. Following his side's 26-21 loss to Ireland, Wallabies coach Michael Cheika said:

"We ran the play round the front and Will is the decoy around the back and he got king hit from the side, it looked like a shoulder, and when you’re not expecting it that’s what happened. "Michael Hooper went down the front. Willie went around the back. I’m not sure who it was but they jammed his arm and broke it."

Initial TV footage showed Genia look to run by Healy at the back of a lineout but cameras then swept up the pitch. Genia played on and was involved in a couple of phases of play before there was a stoppage. It was then that he signalled to the Australian bench that he was in distress. Cheika's post-match comments came after Ireland coach Joe Schmidt had been in the briefing room so there was no official response from Ireland. New footage has emerged, though, and we now get to see the collision between Genia and the Ireland loose-head. Healy definitely seems to be aware of his actions and he steps over to deliver a blindside bump on Genia as he darts around the ball.
