Castres winger Filipo Nakosi’s devastating carry flattens Conor Murray and Andrew Conway

Filipo Nakosi has only played three Test matches for Fiji. We would love to see him and his brother, Josh Tuisova, team up on both wings for the Fijians. Munster secured a vital 16-13 win over Castres that all but secures their passage to the knock-out stages. They left it late but a Gavin Coombes try, converted by Jack Crowley, saw them snatch a late victory for the second week running. Near the end of the first half in an otherwise scrappy Champions Cup tie between Munster and home side Castres, Nakosi lit the match up with a carry so devastatingly good that it eventually left him isolated inside the Munster 22. Castres were leading Munster 7-3 but the visitors were pressing for a score before half-time. Munster errors inside the Castres 22 let them off the hook and they plotted a clearance from a lineout near their own 10-metre line. With Castres retaining the ball, scrumhalf Rory Kockott opted against a kick and found Nakosi with open country in front of him. Once the 29-year-old was able to pump the legs, it was party time. Conor Murray was first up and he was soon left in a bundle. Gavin Coombes attempted to cover for his teammate, but could not connect with a low tackle. Next in the Fijian's path was Andrew Conway. The Munster winger looked to be just shaping up to take Nakosi at the legs and hope it was enough. He got the treatment too. It was brutal carry on. Filipo Nakosi brought to ground The former Agen and Toulon star was coming up to the Munster 22 when both Keith Earls and Jack Crowley combining to get him to ground. Mike Haley then dipped in to attempt a turnover. With Nakosi well ahead of most of his teammates, he was reluctant to release the ball and referee Luke Pearce awarded a penalty to the visitors.
