Jamison Gibson-Park produced one of the all-time individual Ireland performances this afternoon, as his side destroyed England by 21 points at Twickenham.
While Irish fans and players were celebrating one of their best wins in years, the English were left licking their wounds in embarrassment after being blown out at home.
It was a particularly tough day for captain Maro Itoje who was winning his 100th cap, after losing his mother back in December.
In his post-match interview, Gibson-Park made a point to celebrate his Lions teammate's achievement before waxing lyrical about his own performance.
He said: "Sorry can I just start off by saying I want to congratulate Maro on 100 tests.
"It's a pretty phenomenal feat and he's a great bloke and a great player.
"And I had the privilege of sharing the summer with him and he's an unbelievable leader, player and person, so I just want to congratulate him first."
