Joy for Jamie Heaslip and Ireland at the World Rugby Awards

When Ireland scores a try like this, you can be damn sure we're going to celebrate it for God knows how long so it's a good job we got a trophy to go with it.

Jamie Heaslip picked up the award for Try of the Year at the World Rugby Awards on Sunday night and it is no less than he or Ireland deserved for what was a simply mesmerising moment against Italy at the Six Nations. Nine passes, 80 metres, 19 scintillating seconds. It really kicked off with Simon Zebo's line break. Then his offload. Then Jared Payne went around the corner to Sexton. Who went outside and back inside to leave the Italian at sixes and sevens. Andrew Trimble releases at just the right time and Fergus McFadden ploughs through. Jamie Heaslip will not be stopped.
