Here’s how the Ireland players rated across a selection of media outlets here and the UK

Player ratings are curious things.

They are one of the most popular features around a big match in any digital publication or newspaper, but you will rarely, if ever, find a unanimous agreement on the performance of a player. This is especially true of rugby, where so much hard work is done in areas where the sun doesn't shine. So in the wake of Ireland's defeat to Argentina we decided to have a look at how media outlets here and the UK rated the Irish players' performance in Cardiff.
