France backrower Oscar Jegou was lucky to escape yesterday's Six Nations loss to Scotland without a red card.
The La Rochelle man was seen putting his hands on the facer of Ewan Ashman during a maul, with a lengthy ban almost certain to follow.
According to French journalist Gauthier Baudin: "Oscar Jegou in hot water after this slow-motion clip showing a suspicion of a fork on Scottish hooker Ewan Ashman. Response in the coming hours/next few days regarding a possible summons before a disciplinary committee."
