The world of rugby has lost a giant of a man, and a giant of the game.

Jonah Lomu's sad death at just the age of 40 has cast the world of rugby into a deep darkness this morning, less than a month after his native New Zealand secured another Rugby World Cup title. The former Kiwi was known as one of the most powerful and dynamic players ever to grace a rugby field, and made an incredible debut at the 1995 tournament in South Africa. His power and size made him a standout player at all levels, but it seems that even before the game turned pro and he was putting several Englishmen back on their ass, he was a phenomenon at schools level in multi-disciplines.
