Robbie Henshaw’s hand injury is bad news for Connacht and Ireland

Proudly top of the PRO12 table still after Saturday's historic win over Munster, the Westerners were today dealt a blow with the news they will be without their international centre Robbie Henshaw for the busy festive period. Widely expected to sign for Leinster in the near future, the 22 year old will miss the next six weeks after suffering a fractured hand in Limerick on Saturday night. The Ireland star looks set to be absent for this weekend's trip to Cardiff, the Challenge Cup double-header with Newcastle, the St Stephen's Day visit of Ulster to the Sportsground and the New Year's Day clash with Leinster at the RDS.
