Ronan O'Gara was subject to what some would call good luck following the Lions' 29-26 win over Australia today.
The former Munster player and current La Rochelle head coach was part of the Sky Sports analysis for Saturday's game and received some bird poo on the sleeve of his jacket while on air.
The host even decided to stop proceedings to point out the bizarre moment.
He said: "A bird has just pooed on Ronan, that's lucky."
The moment brought plenty of jeers from the travelling Lions supporters just behind O'Gara.
He played up to the small crowd and seemed to enjoy the hilarity of the moment.
The host then joked: "La Rochelle are going to win the European Cup and the Top14 double."
The clip was uploaded to Sky Sports' X page, with the caption: "Good luck? Bad luck? Ronan O'Gara was given a 'gift' from the Melbourne seagulls, live on air, following the Lions' series victory."
Andy Farrell's Lions came away victorious in Melbourne today after a slow start that found them 23-5 behind early on in the first half.
However, tries from Dan Sheehan, Tom Curry, Huw Jones and Tadhg Beirne brought the Lions back within three points of the hosts.
Hugo Keenan delivered the decisive moment just seconds before th 80-minute mark when he managed to get over the line to secure the win.
