Ahead of the 2025 Six Nations Championship which begins next Friday, former England scrum-half Danny Care has had a go at selecting his combined Six Nations Dream Team.
The 38-year-old Care has togged out for Harlequins since 2006, but decided to hang up his boots at international level following last year's Six Nations.
Despite Ireland only being a hair behind France as favourite to win the title, only three of their players feature in his side, which includes seven French, two English, two Scottish, and one Italian.
The Irish that make the team are Caelan Doris, Josh van der Flier, and Tadhg Furlong.
Furlong is certainly fortunate to make any dream team, given his injury issues in recent seasons and his struggle to consistently hit top form.
Doris is a shoe-in in most sides, and is put at blindside flanker to accommodate France's Gregory Alldritt at number eight.
Irish players that should probably have been included would be Tadhg Beirne, Dan Sheehan, Hugo Keenan, and possibly one of Bundee Aki, Garry Ringrose, or Robbie Henshaw.
