So they're helping their Argentina counterparts out in that department.
The Argies' team bus was leaving the Millennium Stadium on Saturday afternoon and was absolutely hounded on the streets of Cardiff.
Some South Americans actually scaled the bus, stood atop it and waved the blue and white. Others got up on shoulders and banged the windows to let the team know how proud they were of reaching the semi final.
Others involved? Well, they were wearing green.
Chants of Olé were still ringing around the streets as Irish scarves were waved to greet the Argentina bus.
