VIDEO: Nigel Owens had a very smart-ass response to Scottish player’s dive

Nigel Owens isn't a man who frightens us most of the time.

But he doesn't suffer any fools either and he especially is not a fan of trying to be hoodwinked by a Scottish player after minimal contact in tonight's South Africa-Scotland clash that saw the Springboks win by 34-16. Stuart Hogg got the slightest of touches from the Springboks forward Tendai Mtawarira in the second half and collapsed in a manner more befitting of Diego Costa than that of a professional rugby player. Owens wasn't fooled for a second, and in a clever reference to the venue where the match was behind held-Newcastle United's home ground St James's Park - the referee gave Hogg a pretty severe warning.
