WATCH: Honey Badger and his trusty GoPro are doing great deeds in Rio

Nick Cummins didn't make the Australian Sevens squad but he is in Brazil regardless. Life is like that for 'The Honey Badger'.

The Wallabies star was gutted to miss the Olympics cut for the Australian Men's Sevens team but that was never going to stop him for setting off to Brazil. The Aussie winger is a true original and has already provided some great insights and gags from the games. Armed with a GoPro and a selfie stick, the rugby star has taken in Friday's opening ceremony, the Sevens Rugby - cheering on the victorious Aussies - cycling and beach volleyball. With Super Rugby over for another year, Cummins is assessing his playing options but has taken some time out to soak up the games. In a superb interview with Australia's Channel 7 show Sunrise, Cummins explained what he has been getting up to in Rio:

"I’ve been sussing out the whole bit, and catching up with a couple of former flames in the favelas. "It’s been outstanding. We had some beach volleyball down there before. They’re great people over here."

This is one man we will be following closely during Rio 2016.
