Watch: Jacob Stockdale burns Leinster defence before dropping the ball over the line

Ulster Rugby winger Jacob Stockdale has enjoyed an incredible Heineken Champions Cup campaign.

The Ireland winger has scored six tries in six games to lead the Champions Cup try scoring charts and he should have made it seven from seven after a brilliant individual break down the left wing. https://youtu.be/vGoSjyuKvOQ Stockdale received the ball off a decoy pass from Billy Burns before rounding the defence, stepping inside Jordan Larmour and powering his way towards the line. Stockdale raced clear and crossed the whitewash but failed to touch the ball down with referee Roman Poite deferring to the TMO who ruled no try. The prodigious 22-year-old has been a revelation for Ulster and former teammate Tommy Bowe told SportsJOE earlier this month that he's been blown away by his rise.

"Jacob's a guy who, every challenge he's been given, he's taken the opportunity. He's stepped up to the mark and gone beyond it and I think to show how comfortable he was and how well he played and then all of a sudden with the step up to Ireland he's just taken to it so comfortably. "Whenever we first came across him, the likes of myself and Trimby [Andrew Trimble] you can obviously see how big he is and the stature he has. "He's tall, he's got great skills and from an early age I thought that he looked like when he got the ball in hand that he could be quite dangerous but we've all been blown away by the level he has taken it to."
