You can’t help but feel for Connacht’s absolutely frozen subs bench in Siberia

Connacht kicked off their European Challenge Cup campaign in style in Krasnoyarsk on Saturday morning with a solid 14-31 win over Enisei-STM. Pat Lam's side made the 6,000 km trip for their tournament opener and were greeted by what must have been some of the harshest weather conditions they've ever played rugby in. While the -17 degree temperatures might have been somewhat bearable for the players on the pitch, Connacht's substitute's bench did not seem to enjoy the weather at all.
