Adam Johnson’s sister reportedly shares poem in support of disgraced footballer

Footballer Adam Johnson is awaiting sentence for child sex offences - but some supporters are still backing him.

The former Sunderland and England man was told to expect a lengthy jail term by judges in the crown court trial which saw the 28-year-old convicted of one count of sexual activity with a child and plead guilty to a further count and another of grooming. But while Johnson awaits his fate, a new Facebook page has appeared after the 'Justice for Johnson' page, set up by his supporters, was banned by the social network. The new Adam Johnson's Appeal Fight page contains a poem which appears to have been shared by Johnson's sister Faye, who supported her disgraced brother through his child sex trial.
