Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is mobbed by fans while Carragher sings Salah song

Current and former Liverpool players Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Jamie Carragher are enjoying the build up to Saturday night's Champions League final between Liverpool and Real Madrid in Kiev.

Both Carragher and Oxlaide-Chamberlain are in the Ukranian capital this evening as Liverpool look to claim a sixth European Cup and their first Champions League title since the 2005 win over AC Milan. Several flights were cancelled earlier this week after Borispil Airport had been unable to allocate times for planes to land in Kiev but Oxlaide-Chamberlain seemed to encounter no such issues in arriving in the city as he was immediately cheered on by Liverpool fans after they noticed him on a shuttle bus at the airport. https://twitter.com/TheFootyStands/status/1000332030733897728 Meanwhile Carragher was spotted singing Mo Salah chants alongside supporters in the city as the Egyptian looks to cap off a remarkable season with Liverpool by claiming his first Champions League title. https://twitter.com/TheFootyStands/status/1000145366145290241 Salah has scored 44 goals in 51 games this season for Liverpool, which is actually a better goals to games ratio than that of five-time Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi this season, who has scored 45 goals in 54 games for Barcelona. Ronaldo has more goals than games this season with 44 goals in 43 games, including 15 in the Champions League, but Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos said that you can't compare Salah to the other two players given that Messi and Ronaldo have both been producing at the elite level for the last decade whereas this is Salah's first truly great season.
