The 28-year-old's contract expires next summer, meaning a decision will have to be made this summer, or Arsenal will lose a world-class footballer for nothing in 12 months time.
Sanchez, currently on international duty with Chile at the Confederations Cup in Russia, has been linked with moves to Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Manchester City.
The forward was asked if he would be a teammate of Claudio Bravo, the City and Chile goalkeeper, next season and, according to The Guardian, replied:
"Good question. Right now, I am focused on the Confederations Cup. When this is finished, I will see if I stay or if I go. I don't know. It's clear [in my mind] but I can't tell you anything."
Sanchez was later asked about his chances of remaining at Arsenal, and said: "I don't know my friend, I don't know."
The Guardian also report that City will bid £50m for Sanchez, who has been offered £300,000 a week, and the Chilean is keen on playing under Pep Guardiola again. The pair worked together at Barcelona during the 2011/12 season.
Sanchez's future should become clearer following Sunday's Confederations Cup final against Germany.Quiz: Can you put these big Premier League transfers in order
