Barcelona introduce three strict new rules for players to follow this season

Barcelona have introduced three new rules which their players must adhere to on top of the 10 they created last year. Shortly after taking charge in November, Barça boss Xavi introduced a set of rules for the squad to follow in an attempt to turn around the club's poor form.

The 10 rules were: The Catalan giants were 10th in LaLiga at the time and had just four wins from 12 games, however, the rules evidently worked, with Barça finishing second last season. With new signings through the door, the club have continued their impressive form by winning three of their opening four games of the 2022/2023 campaign. Additionally, players have now been banned from posting any images or opinions that could portray the club, their teammates or fellow staff members in a bad light. Players will also be deducted 10 per cent of their wages should they refuse to participate in any club-related or promotional activity.
