Confirmed: One of Ireland’s brightest talents has earned himself an exciting move to the Championship

Callum O'Dowda has signed for Bristol City.

The 21-year-old, who impressed in a substitute appearance against Belarus for the Republic of Ireland in May, has joined from League Two Oxford United for an undisclosed fee. O'Dowda has signed a three-year contract at Aston Gate, and should now have the chance to put himself into contention for Martin O'Neill's squads for the World Cup qualification campaign.
