Callum Robinson lasted less than seven minutes of a Welsh derby clash in the Championship, on Sunday afternoon, after 'a moment of madness' saw him sent off. The Ireland forward, who has been having a decent season with Cardiff to date, was agitated after conceding a soft free-kick for a shoulder on shoulder collision. When Swansea's Ben Cabango pushed Robinson from behind, he swung around and, at point-blank range, threw the ball at his face. Cabango held his face but did not drop to the ground. Robinson was soon surrounded by irate Swansea players and Cardiff teammates looking to pull him away from any potential fracas. After the stand-off, the referee and linesman consulted and a straight red card was shown to Robinson. Michael Obafemi makes his opinion known

As the red card was flashed, Michael Obafemi was nodding vigorously in agreement with the decision. He had even raised his hand, seeking for Callum Robinson to be at least booked for the incident. The pair may be Republic of Ireland teammates but Obafemi was showing no sympathy for Robinson after his clash with Cabango. The Swansea striker's reaction was reminiscent of Gabriel Batistuta's, at the 1998 World Cup, when David Beckham was sent off for kicking out at Diego Simeone. It took Swansea a half an hour to make the man advantage count, and break the home side's resistance. Lee Cundle set up Oliver Cooper and he slotted past Ryan Allsop in the Cardiff goal. Victory for Swansea would see them climb to fourth in the Championship, just three points off leaders QPR. Cardiff are in worse shape and a defeat against their Welsh rivals would keep them precariously close to the relegation zone.
