Chelsea gesture means John Terry will get final game at Stamford Bridge

John Terry's final action as a Chelsea player looked as if it would be receiving a red card and leaving his team in a hole.

The Blues skipper will get to play at Stamford Bridge, next Monday, after the club offered him the use of their pitch and facilities for a farewell match. Terry was sent off against Sunderland on Saturday and, as it was his second red card of the season, he will be suspended for the club's final two fixtures. https://twitter.com/SportsJOEdotie/status/729261815214018561 The Telegraph reports that the club have waived the usual £22,000 fee it costs to hire out the ground for a match. As part of the package Terry has been offered, himself and his friends - many from the footballing world - will have use of the dressing rooms, dug-outs, access to stadium screens and public address system. Terry will be in attendance at Stamford Bridge, on Sunday, when last year's league champions take on the new top dogs, Leicester City. The 35-year-old was in Denmark last night to watch the Brondby side owned by friend Jan Bech Andersen. Terry told a local reporter that he is not looking to get involved in coaching yet and has a couple more years left as a player.
