Class from Manchester United who send best wishes to Danny Welbeck after horror knee injury

It's hard not to feel a little sorry for Danny Welbeck.

Having missed a sizeable chunk of this season through injury, the Arsenal forward returned to action in February and would have almost certainly featured in Roy Hodgson's Euro 2016 plans. But on Sunday, Welbeck suffered another knee injury in Arsenal's 2-2 draw with Manchester City. After scans revealed cartilage damage severe enough to require surgery, he was ruled out for an estimated nine months. A product of United's youth academy, Welbeck is still a popular figure amongst many United supporters despite opting to move to Arsenal.
