Could Robbie Keane become a coach at Real Mallorca?

Developments this week mean it's not as outlandish as it might seem. Robbie Keane has completed his Uefa A licence on Friday. The Republic of Ireland captain spent three years working on the qualification through the FAI's coaching education programme and we'd be shocked if he didn't make the move into coaching or management when he decides to stop terrorising MLS defences. Keane's completion of the coaching course comes days after Steve Nash, and Phoenix Sun's owner Robert Sarver, bought a controlling stake in Real Mallorca. The NBA legend is a big football fan, and will reportedly have a day-to-day involvement with the side currently competing in Spain's second division. Keane and Nash also appear to be friends, with the 35-year-old calling out the former point-guard, and Mikey Rourke, for the ice bucket challenge back in August 2014. https://twitter.com/soccerfede/status/307341419746586624 There's also the fact that Keane's career has taken him from Dublin to Wolverhampton to Milan, Leeds to London and to his current post in Los Angeles. It's safe to say the Dubliner has no issue moving to find work, and would unlikely be put off by swapping the beaches of LA for those in Mallorca. Keane's playing career looks like continuing for at least another season, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see him working with Nash at Mallorca at some point in the not too distant future. Stranger things have happened. Like, for example, Gary Neville becoming Valencia manager, or David Moyes becoming Manchester United manager.
