In the summer it was suggested that Blind may be shipped out by Mourinho in an overhaul of the Red Devils squad but if the early stages of this campaign are anything to go by, the Dutchman is to play a key role in the manager's plans.
“I know what the manager wants and likes," Blind continued. "His way of thinking about football is great and I have learnt a lot already.
“Every manager has his own ideas and that is the only difference there is. But I think I am the kind of player who can adapt quickly and I think I am doing that.”
