The Manchester United manager hasn't scribbled David De Gea's name on his teamsheet yet this season as he's continued to start Sergio Romero between the sticks. The tide of transfer speculation growing around De Gea in the final weeks of the window led to the Dutchman's decision to keep his number one off the pitch as he believed he wasn't focused on the task at hand. But now that the transfer window has slammed shut and De Gea has gotten some playing time under his belt with Spain, the stopper could well be recalled this weekend when United host arch-rivals Liverpool. But De Gea doesn't sound too confident of a guaranteed start and revealed to Spanish outlet AS that he'll need a bit of good fortune to get back in the team. "I felt good. I was really longing to get back playing. I'll keep working and let's see if I have some luck with my club. "Yes I'm happy. I am relaxed about things and I will go on working hard and improving, and enjoying my football." United supporters will join their preferred goalkeeper in a spot of finger-crossing for the next few days as LVG considers whether or not to call an end to his freeze-out.
