For several years now, De Gea has proven himself to be a pillar of reliability for both club and country but it turns out he is actually human after all. Spain played out a 1-1 draw with Switzerland on Sunday night and De Gea will have to hold his hands up for the equalising goal. To be fair, there is no danger of De Gea losing his place as Spain's number one due to his error this weekend and, given the law of averages, it could be several years before he drops another clanger.
