Dean Henderson will have had plenty of Manchester United supporters willing to forget his recent, crude words about the club, after his clean sheet heroics for Nottingham Forest. The Forest goalkeeper, on a season-long loan from United, helped his club to their first win of the Premier League season, after 23 years out of the top flight. Henderson made five saves during the game, including a second half penalty save from England teammate Declan Rice. West Ham had a first half goal ruled out, courtesy of a VAR intervention, but looked to be well set for an equaliser after a Scott McKenna hand-ball in the box. "This place was a fortress," Dean Henderson told Sky Sports after Nottingham Forest won 1-0. "The fans have been bouncing all game, and they deserve this one. What an occasion - 23 years - and to do it with the boys all working hard, it's fantastic." Asked about that Declan Rice penalty save, Henderson had an admission about his international teammate, and his spot-kick habits. Wayne Hennessy, over on the Forest bench, was shouting instructions at his goalie teammate, but Henderson already had his mind made up.

"Yeah, well I know Dec's favourite side. I obviously trained with him before. "You never know if he might change it up, last minute, but I stuck with what I knew and, luckily, he put it there."
