The centre-half has enjoyed a decent enough start to the season, but it all came crashing down horribly as the Croat forgot the basic rule of any good defender: if in doubt, get it the f**k out. Liverpool were already losing 1-0 after a Joe Gomez error when Lovren found himself on the touchline trying to defend under pressure from West Ham's Manuel Lanzini. He almost did everything right...
