Dortmund sporting director speaks out about Januzaj Manchester United return rumours

Adnan Januzaj will not return to Manchester United in January, despite finding his first-team options at Borussia Dortmund limited.

The Belgian joined the Bundesliga club shortly before the end of the transfer window, and started well with a debut goal in a friendly against St Pauli. He has failed to hold down a first-team place in Germany, putting his chances of inclusion in Belgium's Euro 2016 squad under threat, but Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc is adamant that the youngster is staying for the whole season. German publication Kicker reports that Zorc has dismissed the prospect of Januzaj returning to Old Trafford before the end of the season as "currently not an issue". Januzaj has not been included in the Belgium squad for their friendlies against Italy and Spain, and will need to get playing regularly if he is to stand any chance of going to the European Championships next summer.
