The salary information for all players currently playing in the league has been released by the Major League Soccer Players Union and Orlando City midfielder Kaka is be the highest-paid player in Major League Soccer this season, with Chicago Fire's Bastian Schweinsteiger seventh. Former Real Madrid man Kaka earns £5.6m, with ex-Manchester United and Bayern Munich midfielder Schweinsteiger earning £4.2m. Toronto forward Sebastian Giovinco (£5.5m) and midfielder Michael Bradley (£5.1m) complete the top three.
