EA Sports reveals the top 10 players in Fifa 16

The wait is over – we now know who the most sought-after players on the most sought-after football game will be.

EA Sports has unveiled its top 10 for FIFA 16, and there are some new names to feast your eyes on. Cristiano Ronaldo's Ballon d'Or victory was not enough to see him overtake Lionel Messi at the top of the rankings, with the Argentina edging out his rival with a score of 94 to Ronaldo's 93. Arjen Robben, who was third on FIFA 15, now shares that spot with a ranking of 90, the same as Manuel Neuer and Luis Suarez. Elsewhere it's bad news for Manchester United, with midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger dropping out of the top 10 to be replaced by Manchester City's David Silva. The Spanish winger is one of three new arrivals in the top 10, alongside namesake Thiago Silva and Champions League winner Neymar.
