Eamon Dunphy gushes with praise for Liverpool, tips them to hammer Manchester United

Eamon Dunphy predicts big things for Liverpool this season.

Jurgen Klopp's side have been very impressive so far - that defeat to Burnley aside - and made light work of Hull City at the weekend. Liverpool won 5-1 and are, along with Manchester City, the form side in the Premier League. Dunphy reckons the Reds are capable of ending a 27-year wait for a league title, and tips them to comfortably beat Manchester United when the two play on October 17 at Anfield. https://twitter.com/SportsJOEdotie/status/780418527283015680 "He's going to do great things with Liverpool. "They are just one good defender short of being champions and I think they will eat Manchester United when they play in a couple of weeks' time." "I think it is very exciting for Liverpool. They have bought well, (Sadio) Mane is a super player. "The way the team plays, the confidence they show, the lack of fear which is something (Pep) Guardiola gives his teams as well. We have great coaches in the Premier League. "I'll be very confident that Liverpool will be bang there in the end."

Dunphy also predicted Liverpool to take apart City, and to "eat" their manager Pep Guardiola.

"When they get their hands on Guardiola, they'll eat him as well."
