Enzo Fernandez posted a video in which he and his Argentina teammates appear to be singing a racially-motivated chant about the France squad following their Copa America win.
Argentina reclaimed their title with a win against Colombia in the final on Sunday and as they celebrated on their team bus, Fernandez tried to capture the moment before swiftly stopping the video moments after members of the squad started up the chant.
First sung by Argentine supporters during the 2022 World Cup, the racist and transphobic chant claims France’s players are ‘all from Angola’ and makes a vile reference to a reported relationship between Kylian Mbappe and transgender model Ines Rau.
In Fernandez's video, players can be heard singing the first two lines of the song before someone is heard saying "cut the video".

The 23-year-old plays alongside several black French teammates at Chelsea including Benoit Badiashile, Axel Disasi, Wesley Fofana, Malo Gusto, Christopher Nkunku and Lesley Ugochukwu.
He won't return to club football until a later date due to his participation in the Copa America.
Argentina’s Football Federation has yet to acknowledge the video of their players singing the chant during the celebrations on the bus.
