Attention will soon be turned to the upcoming Premier League season and FPL have already unveiled a dramatic rule change for 2024/25.
Year upon year millions of football fanatics play FPL in highly competitive groups with friends. There's nothing better.
A hugely popular game already, changes are rarely needed.
However, a rule change including a 'mystery chip' has recently been confirmed, only adding more excitement.
FPL chiefs have confirmed that the new chip will be in fact introduced in January 2025.
FPL expert Sam Bonfield stated: "Chips are a huge part of the FPL game.
"The announcement of the Mystery Chip is really exciting. I wonder if we could see a return of one of the chips from seasons past, like my all-time favourite the All Out Attack chip?!
"If not, could it be something we have seen FPL trial in the FPL Challenge game like the limitless price week or the points for every shot?
"Whatever the new chip is, I can't wait to hear about it!"
Another huge change confirmed is that players will be able to make five free transfers compared to the previous amount of one without the dreaded points tally hit.
After the use of a wildcard, transfers can be retained and subsequently used the following week.
In regards to the rare occasion of a goalkeeping scoring, 10 points will be awarded, in comparison to six. Reload Alisson v West Brom all over again.
