Fire brigade called to Chris Smalling’s house to deal with typical footballer emergency

We're guessing the hot tub was not full of water at the time

That could be the new fire safety message campaign fronted by Manchester United's Chris Smalling, after emergency services in the city were called to his gaff on Tuesday night to deal with a fire. The defender was not at home at the time, as firefighters responded to a call to deal with a fire in the hot tub at the back of his house which it's believed was caused by an electrical fault.
