Lee Dixon enjoyed an extremely successful football career. The former Arsenal and England defender played at the very highest level of the game for a number of years. You would expect that his knowledge and grasp of the game, then is fairly spot on. ITV Sport certainly seem to think so, as he was once again on their punditry team to discuss England's final World Cup warm-up game on home soil on Thursday night. Costa Rica were the opponents at Leeds' Elland Road Stadium, and fell behind to a brilliant long-range effort from Manchester United's Marcus Rashford early in the first half. While most people focused on the quality of Rashford's dipping shot, Dixon took a slightly different approach - deciding to criticise the Costa Rican goalkeeper, Keylor Navas. According to Dixon, Rashford's shot could and should have been saved by Navas, describing the Real Madrid star as "the most overrated goalkeeper in the world". A sight for sore eyes, it was one of those goals that you just have to take a step back and appreciate for its beauty. Rather than doing that, Dixon took away from Rashford's moment, and he proceeded to take an untimely swipe at Navas.
