Agbonlahor weighed in on Keane's criticism of Maguire and said it was "a bit too personal for my liking." The former England international suggested the Man United captain doesn't deserve a lot of the criticism that he receives and feels that some of the criticism stems from pundits such as Keane. "When pundits like Roy Keane, who really come for players like Maguire a bit too personal for my liking. And then everyone feels Roy Keane, whatever he says is how it should be," Agbonlahor told talkSPORT. "Then people have made their decision on Maguire because of what pundits like Roy Keane say, so I think he gets a lot of stick that he doesn't deserve."

Agbonlahor, surprisingly, labelled Maguire as Man United's best defender this season, ahead of Raphael Varane and Victor Lindelof.
