Firmino, Mane and Salah are all having their time and with Shaqiri chomping at their heels, it seems like the perfect cocktail at Liverpool.
Renowned for getting carried away, the Merseysiders seem to have more reason than ever now and they finally do feel that this will be their year to bridge a 28 year gap and become League champions.

"I'm not sure, I'd love to say yes to that (that Liverpool will win the League, but I think City still have the edge on them...I think City are still the favourites to win the League..." "I just look at that midfield three, De Bruyne, Fernandinho and the way Silva's playing - arguably that mix there would be the best in the world in midfield," he said. The teams drew when they met at Anfield two weeks ago though Liverpool have come through tougher fixtures to date, having been tested by Chelsea and Tottenham. The Premier League promises to be a fascinating, ding-dong battle this year, because Chelsea shouldn't be ruled out of the race just yet either.
