According to The Telegraph, Maguire is in 'advanced' talks with the club over a new deal and Leicester chiefs are hopeful of reaching an agreement with him before the end of the month.
Should his wages rise to £75,000, that figure would still fall well short of the sum he could earn at a bigger club like Manchester United, but the continuity may be exactly what he's looking for after a breakthrough summer of sorts with England.
