Ireland fans headed for France during Euro 2016 can expect to pay up to 408 per cent more for a hotel room than they'd normally be charged. And that's only during the group stage. Prices all over the country have gone through the roof in time for the major international football tournament and, in Paris, Bordeaux, Lille, Ireland fans are being hit with the sky-rocketing charges. One hotel in Bordeaux - where Ireland play their second game against Belgium - jumps from 50 euro on a standard Saturday night in May to over 250 euro when Martin O'Neill's men are in town on Saturday 18 June. Ireland have a guaranteed three games over the course of nine days and, if you're planning on making any of them, tell your bank account because it is in for another hit. Paris

Bordeaux

Lille

Away north with us and it's the same story. A comparison of a Wednesday in May with the Wednesday night Ireland are playing is as you'd expect. These are just random examples of rooms available to book right now but it's easy to conclue that it's going to be a lot dearer to stay in France during the Euros than it would be normally.
