How Robbie Keane’s wages compare to Steven Gerrard’s, Andrea Pirlo’s and the other MLS big earners

Robbie's doing well for himself over in the States.

The MLS have released their yearly salary figures and it makes for some interesting reading. Robbie Keane will make $4.5m this season but Kaka is still the highest earning player in the league, taking hom $7,167,500m with Orlando City while former Juve playmaker Sebastian Giovinco, now of Toronto,  is narrowly behind him in second with $7,115,555m Steven Gerarrd ain't doing too badly either. The Liverpool legend is pocketing $6,332,504 while Frank Lampard will be taking home a cool $6m. Andrea Pirlo's wages are surprisingly low, relative to some of the aforementioned stars. The Italian playmaker is earning slightly above $2m but that's almost $5.1m less than Kaka. Meanwhile, Kevin Doyle and Sean St. Ledger willearn $1,170,000 and $147,492 a year respectively.
