Alberto Moreno was in great form over the pre-season. Jurgen Klopp had openly expressed his faith in the Spaniard's defending capabilities and was not going to bring anyone else in.
Sure there was talk of James Milner slotting in if needed but Moreno felt supremely confident he would be lining out in the Liverpool back four.

Four games into the season and it is still going. Moreno has seen 14 minutes of action since conceding a penalty, going missing for Theo Walcott's goal and getting horribly exposed, at regular intervals.
