The Inter Milan player has been linked with the club over the past few months but nothing has yet to materialise.
However, Inter's head coach Luciano Spalletti, was speaking about a possible move and didn't do much to ease the nerves of his fans.
As per ESPN, Spalletti told reporters after a pre-season game in Singapore:
"Our intention is to keep Perisic if possible. I have known him for a long time and you don't need me to tell you that he's a world-class player.
"Whether he played well tonight or not isn't important. We want to keep him, but a lot of considerations have to be made. I can't say for sure if he is going to stay or not."
