It seems Everton’s opening game of the new season isn’t quite sexy enough for their fans

It's not exactly a glamour tie

Everton's new Premier League campaign kicks off this Saturday at home to Watford, but it doesn't seem like the game has generated much interest. Roberto Martinez endured a tough second season on Merseyside and he'll be hoping that his club's fortunes will improve this campaign. We're sure he'll be banking on some pretty loud home support in his efforts, especially on day one, but if this post on the official Everton Facebook campaign is anything to judge, most home fans will be washing their hair on Saturday at 3pm instead of heading to Goodison   Now it is early days but still  you'd think a club that has over two-million likes on Facebook would generate a little more interest than the contents of the local pub.
