Jamie Carragher jokes that precautions will have to be made when he wears Neville’s jersey

The longest running sagas of the summer continue to roll on and it's no surprise that Carragher's first Daily Mail column of the season opens up with a reference to his forfeit. The Sky Sports pundit must wear a Manchester United jersey after losing a bet with punditry soulmate Gary Neville before the 2014/15 season. "Gary has already sent it to me," Carragher confirmed. "It has his name and No 2 on the back." And the former Liverpool defender has revealed that he has plans to refrain from having the fabric of his rivals' shirt come in direct contact with his skin. "If I wear it, I’d have to wear something underneath it; there is no way I am having that touching my skin." As troubling a thought as it is, the fact that the forfeit will be for a good cause is getting Carragher through the ordeal. "I have to remind myself that it’s for charity.
