Republic of Ireland midfielder Jayson Molumby punched an opponent in today's pre-season friendly between West Brom and Mallorca.
The Waterford man was provoked by an opponent and reacted by striking his face before grappling him in a headlock while falling to the ground.
Teammates from both sides rushed towards the fight to de-escalate the tension.
Fans online have suggested that Molumby's frustrations bubbled over after the same Mallorca player committed repeated poor challenges on him and his West Brom teammates.
