Jeff Hendrick had an adorable reaction to Burnley signing Robbie Brady

It is a good time to be a Burnley supporter right now.

Sean Dyche's side are up to 9th in the Premier League after Sam Vokes got the decider in a 1-0 win over champions Leicester City. The club could have their league status secured by March but are looking up rather than down. They will also be welcoming £18m of new talent to Turf Moor. On Tuesday, Burnley confirmed the capture of Ashley Westwood from Aston Villa for £5m and Robbie Brady from Norwich for an initial outlay of £10m [with £3m payable if Brady hits appearance and performance targets]. The capture of Brady means Burnley have now broke their club record transfer fee for the second time in six months. "He’s a good technician and keeps the ball well, so I think he’s a good one for us," he said:

"He’s got to earn the right, as has Robbie. He is a different type, he can play in a couple of different positions and was hungry with a desire to be back in the Premier League and we want him to take on that challenge. "It’s been a tough deal to get through, that one, and we’re delighted to have him and Ashley here. "They both have different strengths to them, and they add to the group - and I mean that because I believe in the group."

Hendrick, Brady and fellow Ireland international Stephen Ward will next face Watford on Saturday.
