Jermaine Pennant reminded people he exists by resurfacing at a League 1 club

The only uncapped Englishman to start a Champions League final (yes, that one's still pub quiz material) has joined the League 1 club after leaving Singapore last year. Bury are waiting on international clearance before their new signing can play, a club statement reveals - something which we imagine doesn't come up all that frequently for them.
