Kylian Mbappe receives Saudi offer that will be impossible to reject

Mbappé is reluctant to leave PSG until the end of the season

Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal has submitted a €300m transfer bid for France footballer Kylian Mbappé, according to reports. If Paris Saint-Germain accept the offer, it will break the world transfer record, currently €200m, which was set when PSG signed Neymar from Barcelona in 2017. In a further twist, Mbappé has reportedly been offered the chance to play in Saudi Arabia for just one season - at which point, he will be free to join Real Madrid on a free transfer in 2024. He also said he has no plans to leave PSG until the end of the 2023/2024 campaign. The Qatari-owned team, meanwhile, are now finally prepared to sell the forward so that they don’t lose him for free. They have even left him out of the club’s pre-season tour of Japan. Real Madrid are keen to wait until next summer to sign Mbappé, in order to avoid paying an inflated fee.
